Gypsies and Fortune Telling

There is nothing more mysterious than a gypsy.  Maybe it is because of their nomadic behavior as they tend to go from place to place hardly ever settling down.  It could also be because of their let’s just say “different” way of life that does not really keep up with the norms of society.  Another factor could be their rich history.  Around the 14^th century, they migrated to Europe from North India and have made their way to North America and even Australia.   Or it could even be just their native tongue all together- the Romany language.  But one thing for sure that has people baffled wanting more is their secret way of foretelling the future.

Fortune telling is a big part of the gypsy world.  There are many ways on how these predictions are made.  Some use tarot cards, others just the bare palms of your hands, some look to the starts, while others gaze into a crystal ball.  Whether these are accurate or if it may seem like hit and miss, the whole experience alone is already shrouded in mystery.

Crystal Ball Gypsy Costume

It may be hard to be mysterious when you are the center of attention.  Guys won’t be falling in line just to have their fortunes told when you’re dressed up in the Crystal Ball Gypsy Costume.  This Romanian ensemble still carries out the traditional look but with a modern twist.

The thigh high corset inspired hot pink mini will have jaws dropping all night long.  The upper half poses the peasant look with a white tube that goes under the hot pink lace up perfectly.  The matching white arm sleeves add a nice touch to the whole look.  For the lower half, you have a multi layered skirt alternating hot pink and black lace.  The top layer is deep purple with an intricate gold print all over.  It is also lined in gold and has faux gold coins dangling dramatically from the end.  Top it all off with the matching bandana and the whole look is complete.
